Tuesday 16th July 2019 – Loving (12)
In 1958 Mildred and Richard Loving were arrested in their home state of Virginia because mixed-race marriage was illegal. The Civil Rights movement was in its infancy and it took ten years fighting and exile to overturn the law. This is the most beautifully crafted and understated film about social injustice you are ever likely to witness.
