The hall is a stunning, modern, sustainable and fully accessible building and is fully equipped for 80 people. The Main Hall is 7.2m wide by 10.7m long and there is a large external courtyard accessible from the sliding / folding doors. It is gated and is safe for young children.
Special equipment includes:
* Fully integrated audio-visual installation with a high quality projector
* Demountable and configurable stage (e.g. 3m x 4.5m)
The hall is licensed for all types of events from 8.00am to 11.00 pm. There is no sale of alcohol licence, but people can bring their own if they wish or apply for a temporary licence from Newark and Sherwood District Council.
The carbon free sustainability building features include biomass heating, in-roof photo-voltaic electricity generation, LED lighting, passive ventilation, high levels of insulation.
